Trailblazer Devon focuses on:
- Universal prevention – timely support for all about housing and financial issues
- Targeted prevention – better identification of those at risk and providing early interventions
- Crisis relief – effective interventions and advice to resolve a crisis
- Recovery – accommodation and support targeted at helping people exit homelessness rapidly
- Move-on support – longer term support to sustain independent living
-
Some organisations explicitly address homelessness, whilst many others may provide prevention work alongside other organisational objectives. We want to inspire all organisations to join us and share their expertise and ways we can help each other.
Ultimately, we want to deliver a greater number of positive outcomes for people at risk of homelessness, including those already experiencing homelessness, by creating a sustained working partnership across the region.
Trailblazer Devon is supported by Community Housing Aid, Citizens Advice Exeter and St Petrock’s.
- Intergenerational approaches to breaking cycles of poverty and poor mental health
